The Pragues Student Summit 2011 is over. Students successfully adopted the Final Communiqué which will appear on this site soon.

Agenda remains unresolved
Even thoug the final conference takes place in less than two weeks. Its agenda is not ready yet. Delegates will have to start their negotiations with its adoption.

Last workshop in 9 days
The last workshop of this year's Model NATO takes place very soon. Students will attend a a lecture provided by the American Center and will learn about the real life in NATO HQ from Tomáš Šindelář.

WS 4 is approaching
Petr Zlatohlávek ,director of IC NATO, will be the guest at WS IV. The content will be mainly devoted to the events of 1999 in Kosovo. Moreover the IC NATO Policy Paper Competition will be announced.

Jakub Kulhánek the policy analyst at Nottingham University will be the guest at the third workshop. He will give a presentation on NATO-Russia relations.

The results of Model NATO are known
The results of the Model NATO application have been made public. Succesful applicants can be found at the Delegate´s Zone.

No more applications for Model NATO 2011 are accepted. Applicants will learn about results on October 15.

The new year of Model NATO starts right now!
Have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to be a part of the world´s most important negotiations? Are you interested in security studies? And are you able to communicate in English? Then join Model NATO and become a diplomatic representative of your country. All you have to do now is to send your application, which will consist of two parts.
In the first part there are 5 questions which verify your ability to find and work with relevant information. In the second part you are supposed to write an essay/speech/article which proves your creativity and ability to explain your own ideas.
You can find a list of NATO member countries here. And don´t forget to send your application on time, deadline is on the 30 September.
